「This stay was one of the worst- especially for using Vrbo for the first time.We had ceiling leaks in four different areas of the apartment. When we messaged the host- they stated they would reach out to maintenance and get back to me.The entire weekend- I didn't hear from the host or anyone to fix the leaks. Vrbo asked if I stayed there or elsewhere? Clearly I already paid for a place- I couldnt just afford to get a different room.Awful. Would not recommend 」

「This place was perfect for my two week stay! The host was very responsive and even shoveled snow for my stay. The place is nice and very quiet. I will stay again when I am in town for work. 」

「Apartment was a good jumping point to the Civic Center 0.6 miles away. The apartment had adequate space for sleeping, but didn’t have adequate space for seating to watch TV or eating. 3 people was a tight fit on the small couch and there’s no table for eating. It served our purposes, but might not work for a group of four staying for a longer period of time. Communication with the property administrator was easy through the VRBO app. Parking spaces were hard to come by on a Friday night. 」

「The apartment was just what we were looking for for a weekend in Des Moines with my daughter, and our dog. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the place was cozy. And it was just minutes away from the restaurants, farmers market, and other sites we want to visit. most places were under 10 minutes awa. The area was a pet friendly too with green space and nice neighborhood for walks and plenty of street parking 」
