"We found out on arrival that the place we’d booked had had a sewage issue so our host had scrambled to find us somewhere else. While we really appreciated that effort and the fact she met us at the ferry so late, the new place wasn’t great. No wifi, no nearby parking and very dusty. We were told it was available for one less day then we’d booked so we said we’d leave a day early rather than her having to find us somewhere else which worked out fine but meant we paid for accommodation for that...

"I cannot fault the property or the pool and gardens. Everything was immaculate, extremely clean, tidy and beautifully looked after. The pool is a great size with very comfortable loungers and umbrellas. The owner’s son speaks good English and is very helpful if required. My only criticism is that I had to contact them the day before to ask about arrival information as I hadn’t heard from them (they live on site so are there to meet you). Getting luggage through town and up 2 flights of stairs was a challenge, but totally expected for the area. Overall, a wonderful spot to stay!
