"We really enjoyed our 3 day weekend!!! The property location was just amazing and we had so much fun without having to get in the car. The hotel front desk and staff were over the top wonderful. Thank you....hope to see you again soon."

"Very clean, streamlined room. Central stash was helpful. Enjoyed rooftop area a lot - comfortable seating arrangements around decking, ping pong , cornhole and we played farkle. Son got up early to view spacex launch from patio — got some hotel crew out with him; he got neat pix from it. Downside—homeless shelter right next door and limited street parking where they hang. We had no issues with any of them, but I would not do alone. We did walk to king street area from hotel. Not too far. We spoked from hotel to north Charlotte, to folly’s island, to historic Charleston and to Shems Creek and Sullivans island. All easy drives."

"We enjoyed our stay at tides, the room was good, the view amazing.Only disappointment was the coffee. Our room didn’t have any choices, it appeared to push us only to the coffee shop on premises, which only served Starbucks."

"Front desk is staffed 24/7. There is a beverage dispenser located on the first floor off to the right, you can get assorted coffees and flavored waters 24/7. There is not snack bar or vending anywhere on this property, you have to go to the marina store to get those. Also, being the resort is out by itself you have only one choice for breakfast and dinner if you don't want to leave the property, the fish house. Breakfast and dinners are pretty good there. The water taxi is the fastest and easiest way into downtown, it can be expensive and I suggest if your going to do this is the $17. Per person all day pass and its only for that day. The shuttle is nice but your at the mercy of traffic in going to or being picked up, if there is an accident on the bridge, you will be waiting possibly for hours. Pay mind to the water taxi schedule at it changed during the seasons. Miss either one of these and your going to be looking for a ride service. Resort is clean and staff polite and helpful."

"The room was clean. Outdoor pool area is set up nice and gives people different spaces to relax. There is also 3.5 ft pool to take the little ones swimming. We did not purchase breakfast but had dinner at the bar two nights. The first night, I had chicken sandwich and smores martini. Very good. Second night, brussel sprout flatbeead. Not so good. I believe the kitchen closes at 9p. & bar closes at 10p. We stayed 2 nights, it is a good location for historic Charleston, Boones Hill Plantation and the beach. Fyi...there is a great breakfast/lunch place 6 miles away called Mount Pleasant Toast. Really good food."
