“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. ”

“We had such an amazing time at this property, the photos of the house are exactly as pictured. The pool & beach views are incredible and the home is clean, with a ton of space for a friends or couple weekend or a family trip. We did not want to leave!!! However the only reason for the low rating is the rental company associated with this property was beyond rude and difficult. “This condo we stayed in at Palmetto’s was a cozy place to stay there was two bedrooms two bathrooms a small kitchen with stove and large fridge. Just what a couple or a small family needs the beds where comfortable!! One of the bedrooms has a set of doors that walk out to the deck from the living room you also can reach the deck. “I read the description and reviews thoroughly so I wasn’t surprised by anything. The interstate on-ramp right outside the window isn’t ideal but we knew about it in advance and brought earplugs/sound machines. The only thing we couldn’t have planned for was the construction of the house right next door. They started working at 7 am each day which was noisy. “We rented the property during our sons graduation. It is in the heart of downtown Charleston, walking distance to a lot. It has a soul restaurant literally 20 steps from it. It comes with the challenges of an old house, but at the same time it was quaint. It was very clean and has everything you will need. I would gladly stay again.”

Our only complaint was the location of our room (we had a room in the back of the hotel. Next time we will ask for a different room. Overall great atmosphere and friendly staff. ”
