“This is a lovely Riad. Close to the souks but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The staff working there are very attentive and friendly and the rooftop terrace is a very relaxing place to spend the evening. Pierre maintained excellent communication with us throughout and is very knowledgeable, arranging our taxis and spa treatments. You need to fill in a Google form for every meal if you wish to eat at the Riad, which is a great option if you are tired of the souks. The food is……

“The ine thing that stood out to me is how friendly the staff was. I had the pleasure of interacting with both Zakaria(s), Sameer, Hamza and Mohammed all of which were very attentive to my needs. The property was clean and well cared for. I enjoyed the breakfast on the roof .. even though it was a bit cold during my visit but rhe staff always placed multiple electric and gas heaters to keep it warm. I also enjoyed the massage service I got. Overall great authentic Moroccan experience.”

“I would actually give it 4.5 out of 10 but on balance 4 felt maybe over blown. It’s a beautiful Riad and is charming for a short term stay if you’re bored of regular hotels. The rooms aren’t the most soundproof but that comes with the territory of boutique hotels like Mellah. I would defiantly recommend booking a taxi via the hotel, as it’s not the easiest place to find! However, the location is great within the city walls. The food at the hotel was excellent, but a common theme across……

“Mohammed was the best host! He was so attentive to our needs and was great at giving us suggested restaurants, as well as booking a private taxi for us. We arrived quite late, and mohammed took us to a local rooftop restaurant which was fab. The hotel is clean and architecturally stunning. The rooftop is the perfect place to chill on a hot afternoon, and the pool is bigger than photos suggested. Breakfast was varied with eggs, omlettes and pancakes as options, with fruit etc. We loved El……
