“Outstanding property. The accommodations and the host could not have been better. It was very clean, comfortable decor, the bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and parking is right outside the door. Bernard provided lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do. Sheila gave us an overview of the property. She was charming and very helpful. Food and fuel closeby. Perfect location to head out from and explore the area. Close enough to walk into town. “Had a wonderful time, the property was immaculately clean and only a 5 min drive out of the village. The host was lovely, she even had a homemade loaf of Irish brown bread waiting for us when we arrived. Perfect spot to explore both Cork and Kerry. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“The location of the house cannot be beat as it is just a few minutes walk to the town. All 5 bedrooms are en-suite with 2 more bathrooms as well. The clothes washing machine/dryer combination unit, while not the same as a typical US setup, proved adequate. Due to the length of our stay (16 days) the owner arranged for a housekeeper visit and the place looked like new again afterwards.There is a bit of street noise, however for us that was easily overlooked in favor of the homes……

Easy walk into Kenmare for restaurants, pubs and history, plus easy access to a day or two spent exploring the Ring of Kerry. House is well appointed, equipped kitchen, very clean, laundry, parking out front and a nice quiet neighborhood.”

“Of all the places we rented, this row house was by far our favorite! It was perfect for our family. An easy walk in to town for shopping and dining was really nice. Parking in the back was great. We were happy to do laundry as we were 1/2 way through our visit to Ireland. We also loved catching up about the adventures of the day with a pint and a lovely fire in the fireplace. We truly felt at home during our stay.”

“Lake House is a beautiful property in an idyllic location. Close enough to the village for essentials but beautiful and quiet. The kids had a great time in the gardens as did our family dog. The house has everything you could require with so much space and both indoor and outdoor dining options. We loved sitting out of an evening enjoying the ever changing view and sunset.”
