Our yearly family staycation

Checked in one day earlier as the condo wasn’t booked, check in at the condo had a few issues with code but eventually a nice man let us in and we were able to get to our beautiful condo, the condo was very clean and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay, I would love a month there next summer! I do recommend they put up umbrellas at the tables near grill, it’s a eating and cooking area with no comfort spots to enjoy the beautiful scenery, I also would recommend they update their grilling utensils, over all our family enjoyed our stay and will 100% come back!!

Nice Condo- GREAT communixation

Management company is excellent. Communication from the time of booking throughout our stay was really helpful. The condo was as expected from the photographs. Nice space to share with family while visiting relatives in the area.

Our 3rd Stay at the Ormondy

This is our favorite place to stay when in the Daytona area. Safe, clean and a perfect location to shopping and restaurants and of course, the beach. Not the hustle and bustle of Daytona Beach proper, we enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Perfect walking beach! Florida Vacay is easy to work with! We would definitely recommend this condo building and using Florida Vacay!

So Clean!

Cleaness…nailed it! Security into bldg…best I’ve stayed at in the area! Lots of residents in the bldg so that makes for a very quite bldg. During a week stay I hardly heard a sound from other rooms. I love this place. Great for families with young children. We will be back!

Spring vacay

The condo was fresh and up to date. Clean and well stocked. The check in process was a little frustrating with the code not working for early check in as requested and approved by management. Also, from the garage area there were no signs indicating where the elevator was so after a very long drive, we ended up searching for several minutes in order to find it. All other signs, (pool, outdoor garbage disposal, etc.) were very small and with the garage being somewhat dark, hard to locate. Luggage cart was available but also not obvious, so we had to ask management where to find this as well. Prior communication concerning "where to find " these items would have been very helpful.

Amazing! ... but cigarettes

We loved this unit. It was spacious, clean, amazing views, comfy furniture and beds, and all the things we needed for cooking and serving. But stepping off the elevator onto our floor ... it just reeked of cigarette smoke. The lobby smelled great. Even the garage level and cart room smelled fine. The 5th floor, though, smelled of smoke. I called and reported it. The lady seemed concerned and said that she would have someone look into it (this was at 4:00ish on a Friday). I never heard back from her after we hung up, but there must have been something because for the rest of our stay there was an air freshener placed in front of the hallway vent outside the elevator. It really did nothing to stop the smell that soon drifted even into our condo unit. Someone was smoking in the building all weekend and the cone air freshener added to the hallway wasn't the solution. It was disappointing for what could have been a 5 star place.

Giving 4 but really a 3.5

First let me say I’m a picky traveler. The building is clean and the unit itself is wonderful. They could have easily gotten 5 stars from me except. 1). Upon arrival after a busy day of travel we went to shower and clean up and they don’t provide any toiletries. I’m used to having at least starter amounts of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Had to run to the store and buy all that. Strike 1 2). Although they say they provide beach chairs what is really provided is 1 adult and 1 child, not be at key enough or close for the capacity of the unit. Their was a canopy provided for the beach but it is broken and torn so of no use. They shouldn’t expect people traveling to go out and buy these things. Strike 2. 3). Asked for a late checkout and they said they had the availability to extend to 5. $25 an hour for anything after 10. Strike 3. With that being said I would probably stay here again. The unit and its location get a 5 in my opinion unfortunately the cheapness of the amenities provided and the fact if you wanted beach chairs at a beach front condo you would need to purchase them significantly impacts my rating.

Loved our stay at this condo! Well equipped kitchen, plenty of beds for our family of 6 and the view was lovely! Florida Vacay Rentals made the rental process so easy and the communication throughout our stay was great. An all around wonderful experience. We hope to be back next year!

It was very mice and clean. Great location easy access to the beach. The pool was begin sized but not crowded. It would be nice to have had key access for at least 4 people but it was a nice quiet place and beautiful view w great convenience and perfect family vacation setting

Peaceful Retreat

The property was more than what we expected...very well stocked, spacious and modern. The only disappointment was that the pool wasn't heated. Other than that, an excellent stay !

Beautiful Condo!

This condo was beautiful! It was very roomy, fit our group of 9 perfectly, and decorated beautifully! The beach was never crowded and the pool was also a plus! We loved staying in Ormond beach since it was less crowded and not as commercialized.

Family reunion

We stayed here for an event and we came from all over the country . The management staff was so kind and the condo was perfect 3 separate suites with a common kitchen and living room perfect!! Clean all amenities included and super secure . I’ll be back!!

Excellent Vacation Spot

The property was as advertised. Beautiful views all day from every window. The only negative was the check in as the front keypad not working. However, reading reviews helped us prepare for such an occurrence. The access to the pool area and beach were incredible. Will not hesitate to come back to the Ormondy in the Future.

We enjoyed everything. The condo was beautifully updated and the property, thought old, was meticulously maintained. Security was a bit over-the-top. We could of used more key fobs because they were needed to go to and return from the beach.
