Horrible Experience, Unsafe Hotel

This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room doors were left open. It was a very creepy feel to say the least. We decided we could not stay the night. Be cautious when booking there as they have a no refund/no cancellation policy.

Nice hotel....next to an awesome restaurant.

Owners want to be to check in early which I did during Biketoberfest... Which made everything a lot nicer with my schedule on meeting Elaine and Mike I like them immediately and even allowed me to park my motorcycle right next to my room which made unpacking and packing a lot easier along with keeping an eye on my motorcycle.

Perfect, cozy, clean

This was a spur of the moment trip and the owners were very accommodating to our needs and very friendly! Older place but very clean! Enjoyed our stay!

exciting and relaxing.

Enjoyed every minute. Our host were very helpful. Restaurants Marina and views are right there. No car needed. Hotel is old and outdated but very clean and quiet. As long as you understand this is a Marina and not a resort then you will be fine. Will definitely be returning in September to rent one of the pontoon boats for a day on the river.
