Deposits, rules and rude check in staff

paid £410 for a 2 night stay. Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures. The welcome and customer service was overlooked and despite my efforts to highlight my misfortune I was met with arrogance and rudeness - don’t judge this property on just pictures!

Prettig verblijf gehad! Het huisje was erg fijn, luxe en van de meeste voorzieningen voorzien. Het was er ook schoon en de wifi deed het goed! De keuken had zowat alle serviezen en pannen die je nodig hebt, dit zijn wij niet gewend van vakantiehuisjes dus dat was heel fijn. Wel waren de aantallen soms vaag, zoals maar twee grote drinkglazen voor een 4 persoonshuis. Er werd inderdaad nog flink gebouwd, hier waren we overigens van op de hoogte. Ik kan aanraden om bij het boeken een villa aan te vragen die ver zit van/niet uitkijkt op de bouwwerkzaamheden, dan heb je bijna geen last van. Let op, voor elke special request betaal je wel 27.50, daar schrokken wij van, maar achteraf vonden wij het waard want we hadden daardoor minder overlast. Zeker voor herhalong vatbaar!

Mooi huisje en omgeving, helaas wel wat vies.

Zowel de omgeving als het huisje waren prachtig. Het glas en de vide geven een erg ruimtelijk gevoel. En bij de receptie was men erg klantvriendelijk. Het was echter jammer dat het huisje vies was, met veel stof en vlekken. Ook is de regenafvoer ontzettend gehorig wat ervoor zorgde dat je in de slaapkamer ernaast de slaap niet kon vatten bij regen.

It was very disappointing. The amount you pay is not worth it. It was difficult to relax and enjoy as we were required to clean the place when they don’t give you anything to clean (no soaps, no shampoo, only 2 small towels even though we were 3 people traveling). No shops around to buy either. They show the spa pictures but the spa doesn’t belong to them and you pay extra. They gave wrong information about the spa on the phone. Definitely not the place to go to relax.
