Half the hotel was knockdown or under demolition the swimming pool was not in service and we had no hot water for three days of our stay there were no hotel restaurants open or no hotel bars

Sehr nettes Personal und eine schöne Anlage. Die Bungalows waren sehr schön, nur sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hätten während unseres Aufenthaltes von 16 Tagen an 6 Tagen kein Wasser und noch öfter nur kaltes Wasser. Der Swimmingpool konnte in der 1. Woche gar nicht benutzt werden, weil er grün war und gereinigt werden musste. Auch in der 2. Woche war der Pool an 4 Tagen aus gleichem Grund geschlossen. WLAN war sehr schlecht bis gar nicht und auch nur sehr weit außerhalb des Bungalows.

When we booked this holiday we booked and paid for a cottage on the beach. On arrival they told us no cottages were available and we were put into a hotel room on the second floor. The curtains were dirty and the bathroom shower door was very dangerous and could not be closed. The fridge was running hot inside. My husband had to even defrost the fridge. As I was recovering from a bus accident my husband said this was not on and asked to be moved to another more acceptable room. We were placed in a larger room which was clean and in a reasonable condition. We are still very upset that we did not get the cottage that we had booked and paid for. We feel that we should at least be reimbursed for the cottage that we did not get. Would you please follow up on this matter.
Note: this hotel is very tired and needs a major refurbishment. All fittings and services are very old. The water in the pools around the complex were very clean but desperately needed cleaning of the walls and floor of the pools as was growing green moss. Needs to be emptied and scrubbed.
On a positive note the gardens throughout the complex were beautiful and well kept.
With regards to the staff they could not do enough for you and were very friendly and obliging.
