The Islander #504 ~ 2 Bedroom 2 Bath ~ Gulf-Front! Incredible Gulf Views!

The Islander Condominiums #504 is a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gulf-front condo that offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. It is situated in the peaceful residential area of Holiday Isle in Destin.

The Islander amenities include two pools—one heated to 80 degrees year-round—hot tubs, two tennis courts, a mini-gym, and a pavilion with BBQ grills. Beach service is also available. This condo is just minutes away from a variety of water sports activities, fine and casual dining options, and family entertainment.

Please note: No smoking and no pets allowed!


You may check in directly at the Islander. Islander Resort requires guests to pay a resort fee of $19 per day + 13% sales tax, payable upon check-in. The front desk at Islander is open between 7 am and 11 pm daily. Guests will be issued their key cards by Islander Resort after payment is received.

The location and view was phenomenal. The condo itself needs the carpet removed it made the place smell very musty. We couldn't figure out the tv in the master bed room. We would stay again.

1. The desk couldn’t find our reservation 2. Each bathroom had two half rolls of tissue. No Kleenex, no coffee filters, partial roll of paper towels. Rug in master bathroom was filthy. Other condo renters had the privilege of using beach chairs and umbrellas. The pillows in front bedroom were very uncomfortable. Our previous experience has been that beach useful items are included. Lightbulbs out. Tv in living room didn’t work well. We won’t return to this place.

Property is well located. There are no extras so bring stuff if you stay here, including blankets . I believe may have a mildew type issue because my allergies were bad inside and ceilings are discolored and spotty

4 day retreat

This condo worked just fine for us. The highlight was the view and balcony. Everything worked fine and generally speaking, the unit was clean and functional. One critique would be that it is time to replace the carpets in the bedrooms.

Enjoyed visit. Condo could use some maintenance.

Being a maintenance tech myself I notice things. Upon arrival the kitchen light did not work and two drawers needed those plastic tracks replaced. They were hanging in their openings. The shower bar in extra bathroom was rusting and stain anything thrown over it. The leather on the backside of the couch was flaking and would come off on your head. Two screwed needed on little hinge in clock cabinet. Door would fall when opened. I’m not nick picking and I would stay here again. Great ratings and we enjoyed the visit.

Mostly Great!

Overall this condo, the property, and location were great. However, there were a couple of small things that were a little annoying. When we arrived to the facility, the gate code that we were supplied with to get in was incorrect, but the front desk provided us with the correct code. The second item was that the WIFI password that we were provided with was missing a digit, so we had to figure out the final digit for internet access. One other item that is more on the properties side is flag indicators for water access. When we went to the beach one day the tide was at a double red flag (means water is shut down to public) but there was no flag up to show us that. Other than those items the view to the gulf was spectacular, access to the beach was easy and short, and it was a great location. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in Destin FL.

Would have given 4 stars but some of the dishes in the cabinet had mold growing on them and the couch is starting to shed from being old. Every time we sat down on the couch we had bits of faux leather stuck to our legs. Loved the location and the beds were very comfortable. Clean.

...Holiday Isle is such a relaxing, family oriented place and this Islander condo was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again, for the accommodations and price, you just can't beat it!
