Resort atmosphere

I really enjoyed this property. Having a restaurant and bar on the property was a real bonus, also a great little shop with travel essentials as well as souvenirs on site. The bed in this unit was the most comfortable “away from home” bed I have slept in. I was very pleased with accommodations.

Our stay was very nice. The only downside was all the construction. It was loud and some of the areas were blocked off. Would love to come back when it is no longer under construction. The staff were helpful and kind.

Fantastic Stay

We love this resort. It\'s right on the beach, friendly staff, nice, well stocked little store with most anything you might need, milk, pop,beer,ice, floaty toys,tee shirts and lots more. Nice new small restaurant, tiki bar. Just a very family friendly place to stay. It\'s our second stay this year and we will be back!!!

Great spot

Very clean, welcoming and comfortable. If I had any criticisms at all it would be that they need to leave some basics like salt, pepper, coffee filters for the next guests. Otherwise it had everything we needed.

Great!

The room was very clean and beautiful and the location is perfect! So nice having a store and restaurant located on site! The lobby did have a weird smell the whole time. The balcony has an external AC unit so it leaks water and the floor is wet and makes it slick so just watch out.

Great Place as Usual

We have stayed at Sundestin for over 10 years . We are snowbirds as well. Place is great. Love it but this time we had two concerns. The swimming pool had dirt and algae along the top of the pool. Really needs a good cleaning. Second, had an issue with renting chairs for the beach. My wife was not treated well by Josh. He was rude to her and called her a liar. What happened to the customer is always right?

Condo was nice building was iffy

Our condo was what we expected, we enjoyed the balcony and the view! The lobby was also in good condition, but that’s where the nice portions ended. The door to our condo looked like someone had beat it in, the elevators were nasty and the indoor area on our floor was disgusting! It smelled terrible, it was dark and dingy. I would have never rented this condo if I had known what this area looked like, and we never will rent from here again!!!!

Nice Room

Nice room for two people. Has the what you need, nothing more. If you are there for the beach and water, like us, this is the perfect room. If you are looking for a room with all the bells and whistles that you plan to stay in versus down on the beach, this isn't the room for you. Remember why you are there, it shouldn't be for a luxury room, it's for the beach and water. The room is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The view is excellent but the balcony furnishings are less than ideal. The a/c unit is on the balcony but isn't as big an issue as thought it might be since we only sat out there in the evenings. Overall this is one of the better rooms we've stayed in over the years visiting the Destin/Ft. Walton area. Again, great room for two people.
