Nice and quiet!

Really enjoyed our stay, as a family of 5 we had plenty of room to spread out after the beach. Will be staying again for sure!

Perfect Destin Stay

The property is awesome! We brought our 24ft boat and the docking area is perfect (hose for cleaning included). We met a few of the neighbors and they were all great as well. The house was clean and comfortable, there’s an amazing view from the master bedroom. The inlet is private and quiet without much boat traffic. Only downside is no trailer parking, but they provided a list of nearby temporary storage so it wasn’t an issue. We will definitely be staying again!

Great Place!

The townhouse was beautifully decorated just as shown. The furniture was in great condition and super comfortable. The proximity to the beach was a plus! The owner Mathew and the staff at Vacasa were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Incredible!

This place has it all! Beautifully decorated, very clean and every single bed was comfortable! We enjoyed the bikes and the wagon and beach equipment came in very handy. Would 10/10 definitely recommend and will absolutely stay here again!

Excellent Stay

The furniture is comfortable. It's a very cozy home. The unit is close to everything. We brought our boat. The boat dock was great and right around the corner from East Pass. Vacasa staff was immediately responsive and helpful for the few questions we had. Our stay was for 10 days. This place did not disappoint.

Fantastic property! Beach gate code does not work!

Everything about the property was wonderful. The location on the canal is beautiful. The house is well appointed, nicely furnished, plenty of room, and was very clean. CAUTION - the beach access code that you are provided the day before your arrival does not work. You must use a key card!!! This is located in the drawer in the kitchen. I only found this out by looking for a pizza cutter and there it was!!! I emailed Vacasa about the beach gate code and they didn't mention the key card at all.

Family Vacation

The property itself was great with amazing views of the harbor. Beach access was difficult to find. I would suggest leaving instructions for guests. Beach access code did not work. Luckily the neighbors were friendly and helped us find the beach access and gave us the correct code. The bikes were a plus especially for the teenagers who like to go back and forth several times a day. DO NOT use the washing machine. It left huge stains all over our clothes and I unfortunately had already ran two loads of newly purchased beach clothes. We traveled with all of our teenagers and it ruined lots of expensive clothing. We contacted the manager several times. Initially they said they would send someone to look at the washer which never happened. The last time I contacted them, I received a response saying sorry for your trouble.

Great getaway

It was a great long weekend getaway. We brought our boat and docked at the house. The guys went offshore fishing in the mornings and the ladies rode the bikes to the beach. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We will definitely be looking to return on our next trip to Destin.

Birthday celebration

We were in Destin for a birthday celebration! Heron Hideaway was a great place to stay! It was in a great location and it had what we needed for our stay! The outside area was so nice, seating in the sun or shade! The house comes with chairs and a wagon for the beach! Would definitely stay here again.

Great house/location, grumpy neighbor though.

We loved everything except two things, we brought our boat and found out at arrival there is no trailer parking at condo. Second the neighbor filed a noise complaint against us when we were all sleeping, friendly to your face but you can tell he is not happy he has a vacation rental as a neighbor. Other than that we LOVED the home.
