“It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place itself is beautiful, cozy, and made us feel right at home. For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we truly couldn't have picked a better place to stay. “Definitely not worth the money we paid for 3 nights. Fairly dingy rooms. Weird smell when you walk into the property. Hotel room was okay, we paid for a beach view which we got and wasn’t bad. There were water stains on the ceiling and most things were outdated. There’s only 1 elevator so it can be quite a wait to go up or down and it’s not very huge. In a pinch I would stay here but not my next choice. There was also a stain on one of the blankets, which was gross.”

“The room we were assigned was disgusting. There was vomit in the toilet and it was clogged when we entered the room. There appeared to be makeup on the pillow cases and the towels were dingy and yellow, the TV remote had grime caked into the buttons. This was all brought up to the front desk staff. They apologized and said they would speak with the manager about this. We never heard back from any of the management. I never leave reviews, but this place is disgusting and should be avoided at all……

“The location was amazing and it was such a cute little building. Literally right across the street from the beach. We were able to check in early and when we had trouble getting our door code to work, they were able to help us right away when we called. The only main issue we had was that the bedding was extremely stained. We had to go to Target and get new bedding to sleep on because it was that bad. Also, the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. However, it was a great price for……

“We were really thrilled to be staying right on the beach. Their pool area was closed and there was no where to wash off all the sand from the beach. We weren't super impressed with the hotel and staff. The room was nice though!”

“The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Tara was wonderful and provided us with everything we needed. There were charming touches like an evening fire in the firepit and the front porch swings.”

“This place is properly named. We have stayed here a few years ago and often reminisce about the scenery and peacefullness. We like to walk and with the newest boardwalk extensions all that came to fruition. Location and scenic value is a DREAM!”
