「The staff and especially Olga the Manager went above and beyond the call of duty. That's why I stay there year after year. The lobby is like going into a ski resort with knotty pine walls and a fire going when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees. Long time employee Tommy is always friendly and helpful .」

「Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers. 」

「I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. 「Walk across the street to the public beach access. Next to an ice cream parlor. Nice place for people wanting an old school hotel and not the holiday in express. Good parking. Enjoyed the trip back in time. 」

「have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. Additionally the host Greg is delightful, could talk to him for hours. He built the house himself and did a very good job. He...
