「Everything was as described in listing. Beautiful property both inside and out. My family & I enjoyed the stay. Water was a little cool for us in September but our pup thoroughly enjoyed the river as well. The sound of the running water is very peaceful. The only suggestion I would make is adding a television in the master suite (personal preference) and add a few more towels & wash cloths. Great home. I highly recommend.」

「This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement. The entire home needs somebody with resources to invest some cash and bring it to a standard worthy of charging people to stay. Some other things of note,...

「Alone Mill Schoolhouse was very charming, had everything we needed for our stay, and the host who lived nearby was wonderful and welcoming. Check in and check out was about as easy as it gets! 「My 14 year old daughter and I stayed for 3 nights while she competed at a show at the Virgina Horse Center. It was lovely to have a peaceful and relaxing place to come back to after our long and exhausting days at the VHC. Communication with Audrey was great from the start. The property and views are gorgeous, especially each morning as we left at dawn for the show. The beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water, well equiped kitchen, and the washer and dryer were a godsend. Can't recommend...
