Williams

“We've pretty much given up camping - the outdoors is great, but setting up a tent and a bed for one night, especially as it's getting dark, then packing it all up the next morning has lost its charms for us. Wander Camp solved those problems by providing a very secure and large tent and a super snug king size bed. The place has a couple dozen tents spread over the range about two miles up pretty rough, but wide and easily followed dirt roads. The camp provides solar lanterns and solar lighted……

“I booked a cabin, paid upfront, and they tried to put me in a motel room at the same price. They put someone else in my cabin, so finally they put me in a different one with no loft. The parking they suggested was not great, and the fan in the bathroom made weird noises. Whoever cleaned didn't check the coffee pot, where it looked like a science experiment was brewing. Book at your own risk.”

13. 森林景观豪华小屋

Williams

“So so disappointed! The room was pretty much wall-to-wall bed (king size) and the area around the bed was so narrow barely room to walk with one side only able to walk sideways. The room could have been cleaner; dust was thick on some baseboards. On second night, smoke alarm on the (12 ft?) high ceiling started beeping loudly like it needed the battery changed. We called to the office to tell them and it was so loud that we couldn’t sleep (this was in the evening); she said she’d call……

16. 077 Tiny Home near Grand Canyon South Rim Sleeps 8

Williams

“This tiny house was clean and about 20 minutes away from Grand Canyon which was nice for location. The negative side was the shower that gave you hot water for 1 minute and then turned cold. I know it said energy efficient but for paying that much money, you should have hot water to take a shower. Also internet connection was bad. I would recommend staying somewhere else because of the hot water situation.”

19. Tiny Mountain View Sauna Cabin on 1.5 acres in the Coconino National Forest

Flagstaff

“Pros: remote, property backs up to the national forest, beautiful night skies, reasonably quiet, host makes check-in and check-out very easy, some cell phone receptionCons: uncomfortable bed, the AC unit didn't seem to work on a particularly hot night, a kind of...musky smell? Due to the heat at night, we left a night early. Maybe would have been better on a cooler night? but didn't feel we got much value”
