“We had booked properties from Galveston to South Padre Beach with the goal of exploring the Gulf Coast, notably beach walks, sand castles, and bird watching. This property is described as being on the beach which is why we booked it. The pictures show the view out the back window as being of beach colored sand and water. This is not at all true. There is a sand colored road, a rock wall and then water. So no beach walks, no sandcastles, no nothing involving beach. Furthermore, the trailer is……

“Quiet place to stay away from town. Worked out great for visiting our son who is living in Port Lavaca.”

“It was very clean, and the host was very friendly and helpful.”

“Rooms equipped with everything necessary, microwave, fridge, and free WiFi kept things hassle-free during my visit.”

“In a very respectful message, I asked the owner of this property to please let us know he would fix our concerns for future occupants. With no reply, we are sharing our tainted experience. While this place was clean in visible areas, has pleasant views (except for the rundown and possibly abandoned place yards away), comfortable beds, and a nice porch area with 2 lovely wooden rockers, there were definitely issues. No entry code had ever been sent to us for access to the home. The host did……

“This was the perfect little studio to call home for our stay in Palacios. It was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and always cool A/C. With a perfect, unobstructed view of the bay, the screened porch was a great place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and an evening cocktail. We really appreciated that the host, Marianne, was available, friendly and so accommodating to our needs. Loved our time at Coastal Cottage. Thanks Marianne!”

“Nice place”

“My accommodation included good amenities, free WiFi worked flawlessly for checking emails between outings.”

“Had a solid few nights resting here,it's just what we needed. Didn't expect such an inviting atmosphere at this price range either! Pools great if you want some downtime too but also perfect location if you're into beach visits as well! Definitely worth considering again next time passing through town or needing family accommodation options nearby local sites like restaurants or attractions.”

“The rental property was excellent. The house was super clean and very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The location was just minutes away from our destination. We spent 3 nights at this property and we were very comfortable. The communication with the host was easy and quickly respond when needed. We will be back in Victoria next year. Hopefully we can get the same rental.”

“What an awesome stay!! The amenities were surprisingly high quality for a rental. The cookware was first class and the showering products were top quality including special facial cleanser. I have stayed at VRBOs domestically and internationally and this is the nicest place that felt like home (but with better cookware. : ). I also messed up the calendar when booking and the hosts were very patient with me. We brought a box fan for the loft based on a review but the hosts had already provided……
