“Our family had the time of our lives at Artemis Ranch. It honestly feels like the closest you can get to being on safari without leaving the U.S. The peaceful quiet of the ranch combined with the incredible variety of animals made for a magical stay. Watching the wildlife roam was fascinating, but the highlight for us was getting to feed Tank the rhino – a once-in-a-lifetime experience!Chef Kortney’s meals were absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with such care that dining itself……

“The cabin is set back in a large stand of mature Live Oaks and Cedar Elms which provide lots of shade and the patio is huge, great for meals and hanging out. The cabin is incredibly clean, well decorated (rustic), very cozy, relaxing and well stocked with most everything you might need. The well water is delicious and clean! We really enjoyed the goats visiting us in the morning and evening. They are very respectful and Mayor Ringo is affectionate like a dog, he loves to be petted! Beth……

“This was such a nice get away cabin. I spend lots of time at diffrent lake cabins and this by far has beat them all. Only complaint i have is the fish was not biting on Saturday lol. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“We had a great time here. The beds were comfortable, the provided amenities were very useful, and the view of the lake from the veranda/balcony was lovely. The driving instructions provided was spot on, follow them instead of a maps app. The pool is good for lounging and chatting, not for swimming for adults due to the size, but it was perfect for my groups purpose. “I have never had such a great experience renting a place for a trip. We were able to have our low budget wedding on this beautiful property for a very reasonable extra fee. I feel there were a few places that could have been a little cleaner. The master bathtub had a slight ring of buildup and there was a bit of cobwebs/dust in some places but overall pretty clean. Communication by the host was top notch. We were unable to come view the place in person, so the host FaceTimed us to show us……

“The house was amazing plenty of room for a large group and process very reasonable lake is full. Lake is full. I would totally recommend it. Had a great area to beach our boat for an overnight for a couple of nights and worked out great. Would stay here again.”

“The cabin was exactly as pictured—very clean, well-kept, and in a great location with easy access to the river and Colorado Bend State Park. The host was very responsive, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the welcome book with helpful info on local spots, as well as the pet-friendly setup. It made for such a relaxing weekend getaway!”

So much privacy. Home is split up into 3 suites, all with their own kitchen. The photos do not do this property justice. So worth it, 10 out of 10!”
