“The staff excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Extremely warn and in need of renovation but clean and everything worked. Bed was comfortable and bedding nice Bath towels very nice.
The food was absolutely terrible in the 2 restaurants we tried. This is why I couldn’t give an overall 5 star. ”

“We stayed at this beautiful log cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and truly felt like home, with plenty of room for everyone. The front porch swing was such a nice touch, and the back porch was amazing, the perfect place to sit and relax while listening to the peaceful sound of the stream behind the cabin.We were in town for our daughter’s cheer competition in Johnstown, about a 20-minute drive, and it was completely worth it. “Perfect location right on the trail - which is beautiful. walking/running/biking. The location allows the ability to walk anywhere you need downtown, which is a little sleepy but cute nonetheless. We weren't ready for the trains, which arrived every hour to two hours throughout the night, as the railroad is just a couple of hundred feet away—(Sunday night stay - not sure if this matters, which night of the week). ”

“it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. ”
