"Crisol is a pretty property with ample and free on-site parking and lovely grounds; good for weddings, etc. We were there as tourists for the historical areas. It was approximately 20 Euros for a taxi each way into the Mezquita area (we got off at the Torre de la Calahorra to cross the Roman Bridge ourselves and avoid the chaos). The staff is competent and friendly and the common areas are pleasant. The room itself was spacious. The tub's shower head was broken and wouldn't stay up but there was another stand-alone shower. The beds in our room were comfortable and adequate for our family of 4. Unfortunately, a previous occupant's sweater was still hanging in the closet, which seemed odd as the room appeared otherwise clean. Unfortunately, the pool was not open, to my kids' disappointment. Overall, we were happy with the hotel but be aware that it is not near the restaurants and historical area."

"The room is relatively spacious, and the pool view is very nice. The two windows make the space feel bright and relaxing. Overall, it is quite clean, although I did notice a small ant on the bed when packing up. The hot tub is easy to use and heats up quickly. The toilet area and elevator are a bit on the smaller side. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful with luggage, directions, and taxis. There was one interaction regarding check-out time that could have been more welcoming."

"Great location, perfect spot next to the cathedral (Bring earplugs!) Room was clean, shampoo provided but no conditioner. No kettle, or anywhere to get hot water, which is normal in this part of the world. We didn’t have breakfast which was available at an additional cost. Comfy bed and good shower "
