“Friendly staff and clean hotel. There is a big supermarket nearby and a grill bar just next to it. ”

“Friendly well positioned hotel for the town centre and castle. Parking £15 a day. If there for business purposes, the Wi-Fi in the room was poor and the single ceiling light was an interesting concept as needed every lamp on and the bathroom to create enough light. The windows could do with either obscuring or net curtains as our view from our deluxe room was around 40 bedroom windows of the neighbouring hotel and a regularly used fire escape exit. The bed had a poor quality mattress……

“Excellent stay from start to finish, and made to feel very special by all the Cromlix team. Food was exceptionally good too. Nice touch having the wellies we could use to go explore the lovely scenic grounds as well. ”

“Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.”

“Wenn man eine Zeitreise machen möchte ist das Hotel genau das richtige. Es ist ein wunderschönes Anwesen. Leider hat es Ecken und Kanten und ist was renovierungsbedürftig.Das Haus schreibt halt Geschichte und es ist sauber und die Gastgeber haben es auch schon an einigen Stellen renoviert. Wir waren beeindruckt und bedanken uns hier nochmal.”
