“I was impressed with our accommodations. We had a long trip and there is nothing better than a clean and comfortable home to greet us. In between our exploration of the area, we found respite from a passing storm and some family fun as well. Modern conviences with a little old charm mixed in made our trip memorable. “My husband and I were traveling through the UP and were looking for different places to stay as we made our way to Copper Harbor. The location was beautiful and serene. Full of amenities that we look for when stay somewhere. Clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. “This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry……

“Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone……
