The lodge comes complete with fishing rights for the River Devon which is well stocked with trout, and also prime site to witness the annual spectacle of salmon returning to their breeding grounds via the weir some 100 yards upstream from the lodge, normally around October. The area also has an abundance of golf courses within a 15-minute drive and is only 15 miles from the incomparable Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort.
The village itself provides every amenity required from pubs and a restaurant, to a delicatessen and shops, and is only a 10-minute walk from the lodge.
