Nice place to stay
We had a lovely one night stay at the woodlands guest house on route to other destinations on the NC500 route. The guest house was very nice as was the host. Lovely newly renovated room. We had a lovely cooked breakfast too.

Very pleasant place to stay
Lovely place to stay. Large house with beautiful garden surrounding it and a short walk to the centre of Dornie. Hosts were helpful and welcoming.

Great place in a lovely location
Great hotel in a great location. Had it had a dinner option it would have been perfect, but other good restaurants are in walking distance so not a major deal. Would definitely go back if I need accommodation around Dornoch in the future- and also recommend it for others 😄

It is a lovely location and easy to walk to the town, however my experience was marred by not getting a double bed as booked, the boiler being broken and having staff placing column heaters in my room, but sadly no heat in the bathroom and then in the morning not enough hot water for a shower. Disappointing

De bedden waren voor ons te kort. Beddengoed en doeken klam, vochtig. De douchecel vrij klein. Bij het inchecken was men niet voorbereid op onze aankomst. Van buiten is het huis prachtig. Een volgende eigenaar kan er iets moois van maken.

Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer mooie ruime kamer en vriendelijke ontvangst, goed ontbijt ook. Aan te raden.

Woodlands
The accommodation was great with a large bedroom with en-suite. Host were very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great. Good value for money.

Good B&B - ideal for Dornoch golf break
Comfortable bed and room, good hot shower. Short 5 mins walk into Dornoch. Cooked breakfast in the morning, perfect for a golf break in Dornoch and surrounding area, would stay again.

2nd stay here and overall it was great. The owner (male - didn't catch his name unfortunately) was very friendly on arrival and we had a great chat at breakfast the next day. I booked and paid for a double room but upon arrival was given a twin with small single beds. I'm a large man and even though I tried I found this wasn't really good enough, so I ended up pushing the beds together and making a double of sorts, using both single duvets to try and stay covered through the night. Overall I'd come back but it'd need to be a guaranteed double room.

Great value.
A beautiful country house set in a small wooded area with easy access to town and amenities. Rooms a good size and very comfortable with a friendly owner at your service. Excellent choice of breakfast items at a time of your choosing. Good value overall.

We were made to feel very welcome during our short stay at Woodlands. The rooms were ideal and breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect spot to base ourselves for a couple of days whilst playing at the local golf courses.

We had the surprise of a fully equipped kitchen a part of our “suite”! We don’t use it (except for making cups of tea) but we could have used it for self-catering, if needed. The owners were very helpful and cheery, and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks!

Fantastic B&B. Very clean, comfy beds, gorgeous location and grounds. Lovely Scottish breakfast provided too. Overall, a great place to stay with lovely, friendly staff.

Comfortable stay. Nice
Comfortable stay here, quiet room. Large amount of storage. Great shower. Very warm thick quilt. Great breakfast. Easy check in/out. Good host. Would recommend this B&B Easy access to local restaurants.
