「The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)」

「The room was cosy, nicely decorated, a good size, and with a large and comfortable bed; it would have cost two or three times as much in a hotel - and that's without the generous and tasty cooked breakfast (there are other options on the menu) which - like the excellent WiFi - is included. The shower was a good size, but (and this is my only reservation, which I'm sure will be addressed) had poor water pressure. Parking space is for 2, maybe 3 cars (depending how the others park!), but free...

「Nice location, no phone signal. Unfortunately our room had a leak in the bathroom, so it has a very wet floor most of the stay. The bed was comfortable and the host was friendly & helpful, but the room was not very clean, with dust & cobwebs all over. The shower hose was encrusted which wasn’t very appealing. 「We arrived to a view friendly welcome and shown to a lovely room overlooking the sea, The position on the promenade couldn't be more perfect. The building has been beautifully updated but maintains lovely georgian features in particular the bay windows overlooking the sea. Breakfast was lovely and we were especially pleased when we explained we would miss Saturday breakfast as we were doing Parkrun - no problem - the lovely owners simply put back breakfast time for us.
