“As soon as we walked through the door, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant/bar area was beautiful and cozy. The hotel staff was welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated, and the bay window view of the sea was gorgeous. I will stay at the Avoca any time that I return to Newcastle.”

“The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff in the bar serving afternoon food and drinks were slow and not very knowledgeable, also the snack choices were very limited. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The swimming pool was very poor paint peeling, rust around units on the walls. The steam room and sauna not very inviting.”

“We recently stayed at Manse on the Beach and had a fantastic experience. If you are looking for a relaxing, stress-free getaway, this is the place to book.
The Rooms: Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. You can tell the housekeeping team takes immense pride in their work. Everything from the crisp linens to the pristine bathroom was immaculate.
The Staff: The customer service here is unmatched - polite, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.

“Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the……
