「The location was perfect! Located in the historic area, across from the fort. The kids enjoyed everything so close by, as did I. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We’ll be staying there anytime we are in the area. Because it’s so close to all the weekend action (bars, restaurants) there was slight noise throughout the night. The hotel advises of this and offers earplugs, however, it didn’t bother us.」

「It was a busy weekend, we arrived for the 4th of July festivities. We parked at the garage but needed to wait a while for a space. The Carriage Way provided a card for free parking (two nights) and also gave us a gift (champagne) for the parking inconvenience! Our room was on the main floor right in the main lobby but it was surprisingly quiet. We loved all the amenities ( free water, sodas, and even red and white wine and homemade cookies). We were in the heart of the town, literally minutes...

「Ellie welcomed us warmly and efficiently. We stayed in "Penny's Attic" so it was perfectly situated for my daughter and her husband in the main room and me in the alcove. We even had the top floor deck all to ourselves - beautiful sea breeze was felt even if we couldn't see the ocean. Close walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served. The only constructive criticism is the bed in the alcove is terribly hard and really uncomfortable. ...
