The Barn was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

The Barn was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Close to local amenities and only 20 minutes from Bridlington and the beach for the dogs. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. If we decide to visit this area again we would definitely return to the barn.

The accommodation is clean, comfortable and attractive, in very tranquil surroundings. The hosts are friendly, kind and helpful. The location is some miles from the nearest shop, so you need to plan ahead and make sure you have the supplies you need. The place is a good starting point for visits to the coast, nature reserves, stately homes and the Yorkshire Wolds. I don't think we could have asked for more.

Starting for the beginning, the initially communication with the owners was excellent with lots on useful information sent in advance. The cottage was spotless (and I mean Spotless!!). Everything inside looked new, not a scuff or scratch on the furnishings anywhere. The owners were lovely, amazing people, very friendly, very attentive and clealy do anything to make your stay a good one, without being intrusive. The little extra's like the home made jam and flapjacks just topped it off. The cottage was well equipped with all that may be required for any length of stay. Really enjoyed it and the old barn was everything we wanted. The only negative thing is , it’s very hard to find and every where was so muddy and the roads are only tracks and if you were going anywhere and someone was coming the other way was of us had to reverse so they could pass. But still we enjoyed ourselves.

We absolutely loved our week here.

We absolutely loved our week here. This was our second visit and we will be back again! So peaceful with lots of different places to visit. Hugo and Lola had such fun and were completely worn out by the end of the week. Cath and Paul are the perfect hosts.
