A sage green linen vintage bedroom chair offers a memorable moment of calm. Meanwhile, a stunning sideboard sits beneath a captivating oil painting reflecting a local scene. Hanging space and shelving are convenient features in the large walk-in wardrobe, while the privacy afforded by an ensuite gives guests even more to love about this gorgeous home.
Somerset – Queen bed
Somerset is all about taking time to enjoy the little things. Eclectic bedside tables are the perfect complement to the stunning vintage yellow upholstered bedhead. Soft, sheer curtains create gentle warmth, with block-out roller blinds for optimal sleeping comfort. An original artwork provides a floral colour burst. Built-in wardrobes offer convenient hanging and shelf space to store all your clothing and personal items.
Ascot – Twin king singles
A real crowd pleaser, Ascot is undeniably magic. Twin, olive-green bedheads are a real talking point, and so too is the enthralling, colour-soaked painting by local artist, Anna Minney. Matching reading lamps add classic style to this space, best enjoyed while flicking through one of the premium books provided. There’s no shortage of space for your clothes and other belongings, with generous hanging and shelf space in the built-in wardrobes. In this room, we have provided an assorted range of games and toys for infants and young children to enjoy.

Kitchen, Living & Dining
The Kensington kitchen is modern and convenient, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Guests will delight in a beautiful welcome basket, including fresh bread, jam, toasted muesli, plus a bottle of wine, rocky road chocolate and a recent lifestyle magazine. In the fridge, guests will find butter and fresh milk. Plus, enjoy a morning coffee thanks to the Nespresso coffee machine, with pods provided. We strive to think of everything and more, to offer guests a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
An electric cooktop and oven, medium-sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich press are practical features in the kitchen. This space is well stocked with utensils and basic condiments like tea, coffee, sugar, extra virgin olive oil and flour.
The formal lounge/dining room is an open invitation to relax and recharge. A smart TV, statement cowhide underneath the coffee table, and extensive comfortable, premium lounges and seating make this space welcoming for everyone. Nearby, a classic dining area features a formal table that extends to seat up to eight people. A classic vintage sideboard and stunning signature artwork by local artist, Laura Holland, give this space a hint of class.
A second smart TV is located in the casual lounge room, adjacent to the kitchen. Here, gorgeous pieces of furniture including antique oak filing drawers, ornate lamps and two cowhide bridge chairs are sure to impress. A captivating Cameilia Grace equine artwork hangs proudly on the wall above the vintage sideboard. Not to be forgotten, the freestanding wood heater offers undeniable charm.
Bathrooms & Laundry
Enjoy the convenience of two bathrooms during your stay, both stocked with luxe organic botanicals hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner for guests’ use. The main bathroom features an indulgent bathtub, spacious shower and a separate toilet. There’s plenty of room for guests to get ready for events or catch-ups with loved ones, in a generously sized handwashing area with an enormous mirror.
Federation-style tiling creates appeal in the large laundry, where guests can enjoy use of a brand-new front-load washing machine and dryer, ironing board with iron, and a full-sized laundry tub for handwashing. A clothesline is located outside. A third, separate toilet is located nearby. Kensington is all about convenience in a luxurious setting that everyone will adore.

Outside, a spacious alfresco undercover dining area provides the perfect location for casual drinks and conversation with loved ones, with a BBQ for your use nearby. A comfortable dining setting seats up to six people, while a separate, intimate tea area for two is a charming spot to soak in the serenity. If you’re seeking a moment to yourself, take a seat in the beautiful rocking chair, with a story of its own to tell. A fenced tree garden features a bird feeder, and chances are you’ll spot some feathered wildlife frequenting the area.

Kensington is situated in Eastridge, a desirable east Dubbo area. It is set amongst owned homes and is a quiet neighbourhood. Residents are respectful and take great pride in their homes and gardens.
• Off-street parking is available for two vehicles, with additional street parking. We ask guests to kindly note that the garage is not accessible.
• Upon arrival in our cooler season, the wood heater will be set with wood, kindling and firelighters – all that’s left is for you to strike a match! Extra wood is supplied. Stay delightfully warm with electric blankets provided on all beds.
• To make your stay as convenient as possible, items that are available on request include a high chair, portacot, change table and baby bath.
• We request that you rinse all used dishes and cutlery and place them in the dishwasher (kindly turn it on) prior to departing Kensington.
