"We spent a wonderful week at Fruachan Cottage. We often went hiking for a very long time and were very happy to come back to the cosy cottage in the evening. Pure relaxation and deceleration! The communication with Fiona was very good."

"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. The other thing that...

"Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect.
My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own.

"Lovely place to stay and visit family, the owners are very friendly (so is their dog). It is well thought through throughout the property, everything you could need. We will definetly return."

"On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival.
The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay.
We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you.
If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car."

"Remote location on an estate with an abundance of wildlife. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. Guests are very well looked after by the managers."

"Property was as it said on the tin, plenty of hot water and cosy warm. surrounding area was even better. Hotel serving food within walking distance, Tea room next door- open in the early evening too. Good walks on the doorstep, all sides of Scotland accessible in a day."

"We spent the most amazing week at the wonderful Lower Hilton Cottage. Situated in the most scenic and very peaceful settings, the cottage was equipped with everything (and more) you might need for a very comfortable stay. Lots to see in the area and further afield, great location for sea and mountains. It was important to us that we were able to take our dog so a special thank you for welcoming dogs too."

"Peaceful location with friendly helpful host. Property is stunning, our room with the kitchenette was well stocked and comfortable. Room was clean, bathroom boosted not just cleanliness but a hot shower with water pressure. "

The other thing that didn’t work was the cold water in the shower it was very dangerous if a young or old person was to use it and all that came out was boiling water. Not happy with our stay lovely setting but will it return."
