“The Heritage room has beautiful views of the harbor from the semi- private deck as well as the 1st floor deck. There is no a/c, depending on the time of year you visit. Although we did not use the fireplace (summer time), it is beautiful. The town is small & quiet (which is what we were looking for). There's 1 restaurant, otherwise you do need to travel 30 minutes. And, the Inn is dog friendly!”

“The Serene Cottage on Crockett Cove was so lovely that we extended our stay. The cottage is charming and bright, and cozy even on cold nights. It's full of interesting artworks and great reading material. The kitchen was perfect for the times when we wanted to eat in. There are nice restaurants and gift stores and a wonderful used bookstore in the picturesque village of Stonington, just a few miles from the cottage. Our favorite hike was the Barred Island Preserve, just a short drive away.”

“First time to Maine. This place was a perfect location for quite and some solitude yet close to coffee shop and cafes. There was much to explore on the island and just 1.5hr drive from Acadia. I would recommend and stay again”

“Peace and quite. We had a great time watching all the wildlife and the tide come in and out right from the deck. The clam digger were fun to watch too. The cabin is amazing with all the with all the decor. We had everything we needed to cook with and the beds are great! We asked to stay another day and YES we did. “Super cute cabin RIGHT on the lake. Wish it would have been warmer during our stay. The cabin is very secluded and quiet with a fire pit outside for relaxing. Be sure to have the directions ready from the property manager as your GPS won't pick the address up.”
