Everything in our room was beautifully done. The lighting was awesome. Beds were soft. The only downfall is they didn’t have “lifts” or elevators and we were up on the 3rd floor.

This is a wonderful hotel, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are large and well furnished and the breakfast menu is excellent served in a lovely restaurant. The restaurant also served delicious meals at lunch and in the evening. The only way this could be improved would be to add a gym please.

lovely hotel in expansive grounds a few miles from dumfries. very relaxing. good quality room. the windows are tired but would need a bespoke replacement, but happy to overlook due to the quality elsewhere during the stay evening meal and breakfast were both very good and the restaurant seemed busy with locals, always a good sign. i recommend the porridge with honey for breakfast starters we would be very happy to stay there again
