“We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. The scenery is fantastic, with a sweeping view of the sea across a beautiful pasture. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a fabulous farm style kitchen. “We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!……

“What a unique property! If you are looking for solitude, rustic but totally unique accommodation, and a delightful and informative host, this place will suit you. No TV, no neighbors, just the tranquility of the lake! Great cooking facilities. Parking is tough but doable. Thanks for 2 great nights and the hike you recommended- superb!”

“This was the perfect stay for our Isle of Skye trip. It was clean, cozy and charming and the hosts were kind and accommodating. It had everything we needed and then some. We loved how cozy the living room was with the electric fireplace. In addition, waking up to the beautiful views and saying good morning to our sheep neighbors made it feel even more cozy. The location was prime since we weren’t far from Portree and other main sites. I would recommend saying here.”

“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. The view looks like a moving painting. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. We went to bed before 9 and slept till 7 like a baby. We lived the history of……

“Beautiful cottage excellent amenities owner thoughtful of needs of visitors stunning views would recommend it . Need to take plenty of food and drink as no local shop and need to book at Glenelg inn asap as booked up most days.”

“Home is lovely with a nice backyard in a quiet neighborhood with play area across the street. We could easily walk to grocery store and downtown Portree. There were some issues with maintenance while we were there, but that couldn’t be helped.”

“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”

“The Guest House was easy to find, located just over the bridge of Isle of Skye. Plenty of parking. No service staff on hand. Continental breakfast supplied in room. Overall a pleasant stay. Our room was spotlessly clean & a comfortable bed.”
