"The Hollander is extremely nice. It has a nice pool and bar area offering good cost saving specials. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's near a number of museums, bars and restaurants. We'd be happy to stay again."

"Well when I arrived it was not what I expected. Not on the inside anyway. This is the type of hotel where most of the rooms are taken up by people who live there. It was a little sketchy when I pulled up I went into the office and spoke to Ms tammy. She was wonderful very polite let me know if I had any problems to let her know because they will not put up with any loud noise or anything. After entering the room it was very dirty. I don't think they ever really clean. She let me know that they were short staffed so it seems like it's just her rushing in and tidying up. There was no light in the room except for a desk lamp that we had to point at the ceiling to try to eliminate the room. The bathroom and bathtub were very dirty. In my time there I did see a fire truck and ambulance and the police. But with all of that being said it's a hotel that is tucked into a nice part of town. Lots of things to see and eat around there. I never felt unsafe to say. Of course I carried my gun just in case but most people kept to themselves. What I stay here again, probably not. But it was cheap and close to Tampa for a concert I was going to. If I did need a cheap hotel to stay in around Tampa then yeah I might check it out again"

"Clean room, and bar downstairs. Great food. But after about my 3rd or 4th night at this hotel, they did move me to the room right under the club. Loud music of course, and no sleep. It was clear they wanted me to go"

"Staff was very nice during check in. Rooms are spacious and it was great having a bar to hang out for a night cap. Its walking distance to alot of places and I would highly recommend"

"When I asked for 0 balance for receipt, they said the towel is too dirty. I told them it was their floor in the bedroom that was too dirty since i was in barefoot. The front desk guy was charging me $15 for the towels. I said if you will not remove that charge give me the towel instead. I told them I got a lot to complain but I kept my mouth shut bec the price was cheaper. My husband found pubic hair on a clean towel! The shower area has rusts. The main door to the bedroom is slightly open at the bottom like someone kicked it in. I told them I will report them to corporate and I was talking to corporate already infront of the front desk and someone stepped in and waived the $15. I was gonna ask corporate to give me a free night instead if they don’t waive that towel. "
