「Ideally situated overlooking the harbour, this hotel offers sea views from its' restaurant and some bedrooms. I was, unexpectedly, given a self-catering apartment next door which meant that i had plenty of space with a lounge/kitchen area in addition to the bathroom and bedroom(s).
The only problem was that the door into my apartment was really difficult to push open, hand and foot were required. This was certainly because of the heat, but I was surprised that cleaners etc. hadn't noticed and...

「Fantastic wild location - remote, but not too far from Stranraer. Some great local walks, and sunsets.
The hotel is quiet, small and unique. Our dog was very welcome, and got extra treats for breakfast. The food was amazing - surprising, given the remote location.
Room was clean and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly.
There's an EV charger just next to the hotel, which was a welcome bonus.
Definitely recommended.」

「We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Craigmount. Nicole en Malcolm zijn heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Er was zelfs een aparte zitkamer met lekkere banken voor de gasten. Heerlijke bedden en vers ontbijt. Tijdens ons verblijf was er ook de mogelijkheid om tegen vergoeding avondeten (home cooked) te gebruiken. Deze waren erg goed, met verse groente.」
