"This was the only place to stay on our walk between two churches and we were really grateful to find it! It was fine, warm, loads of hot water, reasonably clean, but kind of had the feel of a slightly unloved motel - nobody had scrubbed the grout in the bathroom recently, the taps swivelled alarmingly when you tried to use them. The rooms were surprisingly quiet given the hotel sits on a roundabout and the view across the fields was great. Some of the staff were lovely and friendly. "
