“My first visit to this hotel. Very impressed friendly staff and excellent facilities. Only minor issue, the windows only have blinds, these do not effectively block out the light so awake quite early. On the whole excellent.”

“The Sunderland Holiday Inn staff were wonderful. I had a bad fall at the theatre and when I got back they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially Kieran. He offered to take me to A&E but I did not want to go. He bathed my wound and found a plaster for it. I cannot remember the name of the other receptionist but she was equally as kind and helpful. If there one downside, it was that the bedroom was very cold and had limited refreshments. Apart from that the room was very clean and……

“Did not arrive till late as my BA flight was delayed. Check in was quick and straight to bed in my room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good.”

“Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe.……
