“We absolutely loved this little pocket of heaven. Perfect sized house for three people. So clean and minutes away from St Elmo strip. After long days spent in downtown Chatt, walking, hiking and exploring, we looked forward to coming back to this oasis and recharging. I miss it already and we are already looking at future dates when we can return! The owners were very quick to respond and super sweet. All to say, you should stay here :)”

“The unit was walking distance to a few restaurants and shops, and close to Ruby Falls and Rock City. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the garden areas. Beautiful property!”

“The Bear House is a delightful place to stay. We had the full upstairs and it was like two small apartments that were joined together. Yes it is a little eclectic, but so many personal touches and each room is decorated individually. Everyone loved it. Plenty of little sitting areas and very quiet and sound proof. Lots of little extras and niceties, with candy dishes and Keurig coffee makers. One note, not a negative, but more of a heads up, you do access the space via a small set of stairs. No……

“The hotel was absolutely amazing. It was like you were back in a time warp in the 1930s. They preserved the speakeasy where The billiard tables are. The decor is perfect for that time. They have the old phones and old phone booths. The elevators are classic. The service was wonderful. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The hotel is just amazing. The highway parking is easy. I just loved my stay and I would go back anytime.”

“The room was very nice. The bathroom needs some work. There were no hangers in the bathroom to hang up your clothes on while you shower. The only place that was available was the floor. It would be nice to have a light in the bathroom that was not connected to the fan. Also there needs to be an extra lock on the door. I did not feel safe. Housekeeping could just walk in on you. ”
