Take advantage of the outdoor dining area on the deck to enjoy your meals al fresco. With the beach towels provided and on-site washer/dryer, the convenience of packing light is something you can have here. Spend countless hours around the firepit with your friends–there's no better place to hang out, share hilarious stories, or simply enjoying each other's company. High-speed internet, central air-conditioning, and a washer/dryer round out your home's essentials. Eastham boasts a myriad duney beaches, several historic lighthouses, and museums galore. You'll have much to explore in this beautiful town! The Eastham Center Historic District is one of many sites in town on the National Register of Historic Places and is a short two-mile drive. Down this corridor, visitors can admire the Eastham Windmill, the oldest on the Cape, as well as nine well-maintained homes and structures. The Collins Cottage Historic District boasts seven cottages, a seawall, and a shucking house, representing the historic cottage colonies from the Cape's storied past. Magical getaway to the Cape

Our group of 5 adults and 5 kids had a great time! We wished there was an indoor dining table but otherwise it had everything we needed and wanted! And so close to the beach!

Eastham stay

Nice location with a very nice private beach down the street. Close to Atlantic beaches also and plenty of dining, etc. nearby. Home was comfortable and quiet but there were some little things that could use some improvement. Overall very nice.

Amazing location

We loved that it’s a 5 minute walk to a private beach. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Everyone was comfortable and slept well. My mom can’t do stairs so I very much appreciate that it is all one level with a walk in shower. I would definitely book this house again.

The home is in a great location in close proximity to Atlantic side and a quarter mile walk to the bay. It did have it's shortcomings but I am marking that up as it being before peak season. I would hope they were cared for before then

Loved the house, and the location! So wonderful to only have a few minutes walk to access the won...

The location was great ~ close to Rt 6, and the access to the private beach with such amazing sunsets!! The quietness within the house with the four bedrooms! Two bathrooms and best of all, the outdoor shower!! A wonderful beach rental. Bring extra cutlery if you have more than seven people. I always bring a griddle and my own frying pan, which worked out well. And we brought a CD radio also. We really enjoyed our week's stay! :)

Great property, terrible management

The property was great--could use a good cleaning out as people have left stuff in duplicates over the years. We also found a fantasy football draft from ten years ago! There's no "how to" instruction book with this property, so you wouldn't know, and neither did the renters before us, that trash is picked up twice a week and you have to bring the cans to the curb. This meant that the raccoons got into the trash and spread it everywhere, leaving us a big mess. The communication with the property management company was extremely difficult when we had other problems: there's no filtered water option and the dishwasher was broken -- simple things if relayed to us ahead of time would have spared us running out to get paper plates and bottled water (which is not sold in Eastham FYI).

Great location, house needs some TLC

This house was in a great location - association beach down the street, and a short drive to First Encounter Beach and National Seashore Beaches where we saw some great sunsets and sunrises. It is also relatively comfortable and was very clean upon check-in, and the master bed was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen has been redone and is very bright, with new appliances - and we made good use of the washer and dryer. The house is really overdue for some TLC, however. It needs more silverware (it didn't have any tablespoons!), the kitchen lacked a dish-drying rack, oven mitts (clean ones, at least - what we found were covered in grease), kitchen towels, and a small pot to boil water for tea. We purchased all these items at the local Christmas Tree shop and left them behind for future guests. The fire pit was very rusted, and the outside grill hadn't been cleaned in ages. The floor leading from the kitchen to the master bedroom was warped in spots, we were afraid of tripping or putting a foot through it. The house would also greatly benefit from a reference book for guests, with information including (1) fire and policy phone #s, (2) how to use the thermostat in the living room, (3) how to use the t.v. (the listing mentions Netflix availability, we were never able to access it), (4) arranging for garbage pick-up (we had no idea what the schedule was and had to arrange for a mid-stay pickup during our two-week stay), (5) information on local attractions and restaurants (including menus). We have rented houses on the Cape for 20 years and this was the first house we found lacking and were disappointed in. Maybe this was the result of it being after busy season, but we typically come to the Cape in mid-to-late September and have never been disappointed with our other rentals as we have with this one. We did reach out to Vacasa while in the house to express our disappointment and while Vacasa was quick to respond and say my email was forwarded to the local property manager, we have yet to hear from that property manager (we've been home for a few days after a 16-day stay at the property).
