Filthy upon arrival
This property on the Royal Mile has so much potential, but unfortunately it has not been kept up. The views are spectacular, once WE cleaned the windows enough to see out of them. The location is also incredible. So much potential! Before anything else, the lockbox is unmarked and took us a good 30 minutes to gain access to the flat. Upon arrival we were were greeted with a filthy bathroom with a clogged toilet covered in urine. All the floors were so sticky our shoes were sticking. The kitchen walls were splattered with food. And the electric outlets were faulty, coming on one minute and shutting off the next. The managing agency obviously had not checked the property before we arrived. They did send out two different cleaners and two different handymen to fix things but this took time away from our vacation. I will give them credit for trying to fix things, but nobody should be greeted by such filth on their vacation, especially at the prices they were charging. Once we got things up to livable standards, the stay was tolerable. Hot water in the shower was minimal with variable pressure and sudden surges of cold water. The washing machine does not dry clothes, but we didn’t mind hanging them on the rack overnight. The kitchen utensils are spartan and the furniture has seen better days. We were offered minimal compensation for our inconvenience.

Location was awesome! The flat needs some maintenance work preformed: Needs living room blinds fixed was laying on window sill not installed, Needs tolite flush handle fixed. Needs Heater fixed did not work and got cold at night Needs kitchen table leg fixed Just a bit of maintenance...

Me encantó! Lugar bien ubicado, muy cerca de la zona centro, el castillo y la estación de tren Waverly. Nos alojamos cinco con amplio espacio y comodidad. La cocineta tiene todo lo necesario para preparar los alimentos y consumirlos. 100% recomendable si viajas en grupo.
