Great location and comfy stay!

Had a great stay, place was clean and easy to find. Location was fantastic and such a great price for where you were, everywhere was a walk away! Host was really responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Great location

Very good location for travelling to all areas of Edinburgh. Comfortable lounge area which we used to stay out of the rain!! Really well equipped kitchen and overall an great place to stay.

Beautiful self catering unit

Very cosy, neat and clean. The apartment served all our needs perfectly. Checkin information was not timeously explained and needs better attention. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well equipped and ideally located.

Great location for seeing the sites!

Excellent for walking to Royal Mile! Easy, close access to Arthur’s Seat trails and Holyrood Palace. Tesco grocery store is conveniently right around the corner. We were very comfortable with 3 people… 2 bathrooms and washer/dryer are a plus!

Great location & cozy environment

You could not stay in a better location! It is conveniently close to everything. And we enjoyed coming back to the apartment to watch movies in the comfy living room. Great experience!

Great location and comfortable

Had a great visit to Edinburgh for the Fringe. Flat is brilliant location, good secure parking and comfortable clean flat. Host was v responsive and appreciated her flexibility in leaving car in secure parking following checkout for a couple of extra hours to allow us to enjoy last few hours of our trip.

Good location to explore the city on foot. A bit complicated to find the key box, park etc but the directions given helped considerably. Secured parking on site. Would rent again

Ideal location for base for EMF marathon festival. Good instructions for getting keys. Well kitted out with good facilities. Our part of 3 were all happy and would stay again.

Great location

Very nice and clean. Location was very convenient to walk, especially if you can handle hills. The directions to get in may seem a little daunting. But it is quite easy.

Holyrood apt

This flat was great- definitely on the historic side but clean! Worked perfectly for my husband, son and I while staying in Edinburgh. We walked to the royal mile and up to the castle from the apartment- beware it’s all uphill but totally worth the walk! There was a tesco right around the corner and lots of cafes for coffee or a pastry in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect and Convenient Place

The apartment was perfect for 3 adults. The space was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location couldn’t have been better. We visited during Hogmanay and it was walking distance to everything but far enough away so there were no crowds or noise from the celebration around the apartment. We were very pleased with our stay and hope to be back one day!

Location! Location! Location!

This is in a truly great location. You can walk to most if not all of the top 10 things to see/do witin Edinburgh. We walked everywhere. We stayed 3 nights. The beds are comfortable, the property manager was great and the cleaners werd kind and helpful. This is a bit dated and the furnishings/decor are not high quality but its clean and comfortable.

Great location. Lots of room. Easy communication with owner. Main bedroom mattress could use a refresh as well as shower, which has mold and needs caulking to prevent leaking all over the floor. And as others have noted, the toilets need attention. Overall, a nice place to stay!

Wonderful stay at Holyrood!

The apartment is a perfect home away from home. It is safe, quiet and really spacious by European standards. I was traveling with my young adult son and we had plenty of room to spread out. It is fully equipped with necessities and is close to everything. We walked everywhere we went, but there is convenient transportation nearby. I will definitely plan my next trip to Edinburgh around the availability of this sweet, sweet apartment!

We had trouble identifying the lock box as the one there didn't match the description given but we did figure it out. The apt was clean and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient to the Palace and the Royal mile.

Great time in Edinbourgh

The greatest plus of the apartment is of course it location. It is located in the very heart of Edinbourgh. The Royal Mile is only a few steps away. Many highlights can be reached within a short walk. I also recommend going up to Arthurs Seat, great view! The apartment was tidy and has everything needed for a comfortable stay in Edinbourgh, including parking. I can highly recommend the place!.

Spot on!

As everybody mentions the location really is as good as it gets. The host very kindly allowed us an early check in which was very kind. The apartment was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The one downside was the carpet in the en suite bedroom. It wouldn't cost a lot to replace it and it really does need to be replaced! If this was to be done I would stay here again without a doubt.

Great location

This property has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, but the fan in the master bath is super loud and the lights flicker annoyingly. The other bathroom has a tub, no shower. The beds were just “fine” not great. However the location was great. Very close to the royal mile and Grass Market. Wouldn’t stay here again but it did the trick.
