“Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! ”

“This place was very lovely. Very quiet and private. Super clean and the owner communicated very well over message. The only downside was that the website did not state you have to pay extra for pillows, bed sheets, and towels. For travelers that don’t bring this stuff be prepared to pay extra on top of the cost. Other than that the place was very nice. Wi-Fi only works outside the pod too unless you are staying in one of the closer pods like pod 1 or 2. ”

“Unser Zimmer, seitlich mit eingeschränktem Meerblick war sauber, sauberes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Direkt vor der ZimmerTür die Kaffeemaschine, die kostenfrei Kaffee spendierte, die allerdings um ~4:30Uhr morgens sich mit einem Klackern kurz meldete. Das Personal durchweg freundlich, wenn auch der Mann an der Bar den einen Abend etwas brummig war. Britisch/Schottisches Buffet-Frühstück mit teils frisch zubereiteten Bestandteilen z.B. Porridge. Als Startpunkt für die Erkundung der Umgebung……

We arrived fairly late after check-in time, but Simon, and one of his children met us, walked us to the room, and made sure that we were at ease while also recommending a good spot that was close for us to grab dinner, even though it was late. “The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side.
