The property smelled when you walked in and it was nothing like the photos. It was so terrible that we checked in and checked out shortly after. We paid another 300 or so to get another hotel for the night because this room was disgusting. The sheets were dirty with stains, bathrooms weren’t cleaned and there was a terrible smell in the room as soon as you walked in. Could not stomach staying there at all.

Hotel is very run down, smelly, and dank. Last time I stayed in a hotel this depressing was on East Hastings in Vancouver IYKYK. Nothing against the staff, a jobs a job but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a dog I liked, let alone a friend or family member. By the photos I expected an older hotel, not one held together with duct tape. No soundproofing, every door slam by other guests and clanging wheel stroke of a rickety cleaning cart is heard. AC barely worked on full blast. Bed was lumpy w/ a spring in my back. I read the pool is never open and it wasn't during my stay either (as if I would go lol), free breakfast was bagels, cereal and yogurt. Parking lot is riddled with "undesirables" and theft warnings. Charge $50 a night or tear this down. I've stayed at a lot of older, rundown hotels and never left a review because they knew what they were. I don't know what you're used to, but for $110.92/night I don't expect to leave my hotel room smelling like mildew and cigarettes AFTER a shower. Must be bots or fakes in these reviews.

My fiancé and I checked in, and promptly checked out due to the condition of our room. Dirty, noisy, maids didn’t even sweep the floor. There was a furry convention in the area and the place was overrun with pink hairs & tails; felt unsafe. We drove back to Calgary at midnight instead of spending a sleepless night at this hotel. Staff was good, and did not charge us, but the hotel condition and safety were the main concerns.

When we arrived, we were shocked to find the bathroom ceiling had collapsed onto the floor, and the bed was completely bare, no sheets or blankets. It was clear the room had not been cleaned or prepared at all. That said, the staff was helpful and apologetic. However, we still had to find another hotel late at night, which was incredibly inconvenient and stressful, especially after a long drive. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here based on what we encountered.

Staff were friendly; other than that this was a never again for me. My room reeked of cigarettes and cats and just generally felt gross. I should have asked for a new one but after a long travel day with my daughter I just decided to crash and get out asap the next morning. The beds were very comfortable, which was a positive.

When we arrived and went to our room there were blood stains on one of the pillow cases and on the arm chair. The front desk attendant was very apologetic and came up immediately with keys to a new room. She stayed with us until we could confirm that the new room met our expectations. The second room has definitely been updated unlike the first one. The wifi is an open network so really not an option to be used so had to use my personal hotspot the entire time to work on my laptop. There was no room phone for me to contact the front desk with so had to text them in reply to their welcome message. On the positive side the beds are comfortable. They seem to be trying to update the building but I don’t think we will return. The rooms are incredibly small and the bathroom could still use some work.
