「The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the windows can see the mountain view, the scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.」

「Clean, mostly comfortable room - the pillows were the only let down. We had a really lovely evening meal in the pub and very good breakfast. There was an unpleasant smell of smoke in the hallway outside our room which was likely from the cigarette bin immediately outside. 」

Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. 」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Convenient location in Portree. Rooms are modest but well maintained. There's a public parking lot right out front which is nice though it probably gets filled quickly as visitors visit the town, and they ticket cars right as the free overnight period ends in the morning.」

「Tucked away at the back of the house the glamping pod has everything you need, the owner is friendly and helpful and there if you need anything. The pod is well equipped and spotless. We loved our stay there and would recommend. 」
