“Such a cool place and so impressively outfitted throughout. The kitchen is brilliantly stocked, right down to clips for chip bags and to-go cups for your hot drinks. Jenny and Don seem to have thought of everything that someone might need or enjoy. You can tell when people care about what they’re doing, and this place shows. Like all great places, the cabin is a little out of the way (hence the name Backroad Cabin) but is easy to locate. If you’re not used to driving on dirt roads, just take it……

“The house was perfect for our wedding with family and friends!!! The beds were very comfortable. The living space was amazing and very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.If I could suggest anything it would be nice if there was a grill and a couple of large pots.A ramp could be added for handicap access.I'm very happy with the house and I would stay here again and again!!Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!”

“We so enjoyed our time in this picturesque home! The host communicated well and even stopped over almost immediately when we had an issue with the window. We loved waking up to the most epic views and the peace and quiet. The neighborhood was nice, local community events and delicious dining options. “We loved the house and the location. Views were amazing! Loved the towns of Pray and Emigrant. Sage Lodge tavern was wonderful for a night out. Spent a day in Yellowstone and a day fly fishing with Yellowstone Anglers in Livingston. We hope to be back!”

“We stayed here as a get away and for our son's graduation from MSU. It was very relaxing. We used the pool, spa and sauna most everyday. Took walks next to the river and tried a few local eats which were amazing. We experienced MT snow for a day and had a fire.”

“Outstanding property. Areas for improvement: A house number on the highway. Difficult to find property. Wifi access code at property. Cell service dead zone.”

“The cabin is very nice inside, very clean, and comfortable. The beds great and the cooling system worked well with the extremely hot weather. Access to the fishing was excellent. It could use some condiments...at least some salt and pepper. There is one caveat to the place and I would not stay there again because of it. They have some AI lock system that automatically locks the door to the place at 8:00 PM. My brother and I were out on the porch watching the sunset and the house key was on……

“We had a great time. Skied and relaxed. The unit was clean. Maybe a hair dryer for both bathrooms and a couple more towels. When we checked out the electronic lock on the front door stopped working. Notified the staff and they were quick to respond. We will be back.”
