"This is truly the most unique, amazing, beautiful place I have ever stayed at! It is so gorgeous you have to see it to believe it... everything is so thought out and perfect, from the decor to the fruit and yogurt being served in the most elegant mason jars, the teacups artistically placed on the walls can only be seen as art! The host is so kind and friendly takes care of all the guests needs yet stands back allowing you to feel you have your privacy as well! Simply perfect! Rose & Family"

"We've stayed at Grass Valley Courtyard Suites several times, especially when we're in town for shows at the Center for the Arts. It's become our go-to place to stay whenever we're in Grass Valley. The rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the peaceful courtyard makes it a relaxing place to unwind. The location is excellent, with easy access to downtown and local restaurants. We always enjoy our stays here and look forward to coming back."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Stay! The National Exchange Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully restored, elegant, full of character, and one of the most charming places I’ve ever stayed. What truly made this an unforgettable experience, though, was the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to the front desk team for their warm hospitality and professionalism—they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The restaurant staff also deserves recognition. Whether it was brunch or dinner, the service was exceptional. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making every meal a great experience. It’s rare to find a place where both the property and the people are equally outstanding. Thank you to everyone at the National Exchange Hotel for making our visit so memorable. I can’t wait to come back and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nevada City!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go.The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well organized. The kitchen was one of the best-equipped vacation rental kitchens we've experienced, with everything we needed thoughtfully provided. Throughout the home, it was evident that the owners paid close attention to every detail, ensuring guests had access to an abundance of amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.The outdoor space was just as impressive. The pool was sparkling clean, and the landscaping was beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere for our family to enjoy.We truly appreciated the care and attention that went into preparing this home, and we would happily stay there again.The only suggestions we would offer are relatively minor. It would be wonderful to have televisions in every bedroom, especially in the children's rooms. Additionally, it would be helpful if the protective covers for the backyard patio furniture were rinsed or wiped down between guest stays, as ours had accumulated a noticeable amount of dust and pollen that we needed to clean off before using the furniture.Overall, this is a beautiful home with exceptional amenities, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable vacation stay. We would definitely return!"
