“The 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit on the ground floor was spacious for a family of four. We loved the large bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cups, and pots and pans. The only drawback was with the communication with the host. I would ask questions about the unit or the check in process and for DAYS, no response. I was getting nervous because I received no information how to get in the unit with less than 5 days to go. With my other stays in Rome and Florence, the……

“The pictures look very nice, but the place is definitely worn down in person. The property needs maintenance, including areas where the paint is peeling. The towels smelled damp, and the bed needs a new mattress because it was uncomfortable and squeaked.”

The accommodations were not what I thought I booked but close to the pictures (a little misleading as I thought I was on a second floor) bed was saggy but the worst was the smell. It just smelt. I bought some scented candles and that helped. Maybe some glade plug-ins would help. I do realize we were at ocean level and it’s damp. ”

“Hosts were very helpful beforehand and made the apartment very easy to navigate - great experience with these kind hosts!Wonderful apartment, Great Location, quiet backstreet but felt very safe, round the corner from good grocery stores, osterie and bars - very short walk to the centre and yet not TOO touristy! Loved it!The only thing I would say is if you’re unstable on your feet or maybe quite large then the bath might be slightly problematic; it’s a very small showertub without much grip.. I……
