Absolutely wonderful vacation spot with jaw-dropping mountain views. Perfect for our party of 6 (3 couples), easy access to the national park, restaurants, etc. And did I mention the staggeringly beautiful views?
We were very happy with our stay at Villa Mir. The location was perfect for our daily trips into the park and nightly dinners out. When at home, we loved sitting and watching the ever changing sky. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
As so many other reviewers have mentioned, this house has amazing views of Rocky Mountain National Park. The location was great and just a very short drive to the entrance gate of the park. We loved sitting and looking out the windows after a long day of hiking and taking in the park. The house was easy to get to, but GPS gets a little tricky - just remember to look for the house number markers on the street. We’d definitely stay again
Gorgeous views, well stocked with cooking equipment etc. Very comfortable stay. I do wish they used unscented laundry soap, but obviously a minor complaint. I was disappointed they wanted to charge half the nightly rate for checkout 2 hours late (to accommodate a work commitment.)
This was a great stay! We’ve stayed in other Windcliff properties and this is one of the best , the perfect size and an amazing view. Comfortable and clean we were so pleased. Thank you!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The mountain views are breathtaking and it is very conveniently located, secluded and quiet but close to Estes Park. The only complaints would be the hard mattresses and
Amazing views! Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space.

Absolutely Perfect
Villa Mir. Wow. Simply WOW! The views here are one of a kind and a perfect place for a family vacation. We went for our daughters 6th birthday with the In-laws in tow. They took the downstairs, which offers all the privacy needed with its own living room and dining table. The wife, myself, and daughter took the two bedrooms upstairs. Views from both floors are to die for!
Side Note: The YMCA of the Rockies is less than 5 minutes away with tons of family fun as well. We didn’t know until we got there, but it was a Godsend the 7 days we were there.

Amazing Property
We absolutely loved the house! Gorgeous views and the setup of the house was perfect for our stay.
The only issues we had were:
1.) When clicking on the directions to the property from the VRBO trip board, it takes you to an incorrect, but very similar address. The directions the hyperlink leads you to is a campsite with cabins about 15 minutes away. This was frustrating. It took us about one hour to figure out where the property actually was.
2.) Once we arrived at the property, there was no cell service and we did not know the combo to the lockbox to access the property. We were unable to call the management company to obtain because of the lack of Xfinity cell service. Fortunately, our family was staying at the YMCA camp nearby. We drove there to obtain their WiFi service in order to call the after hours property manager. They gave us the code, and we were able to drive back and access.
3.) While we were out hiking in the RMNP, the management company sent us several messages stating we had not paid yet for the stay. They even stated that “they were calling the house line and we weren’t answering”. It was because we were hiking on vacation. We returned their message as soon as we received it when we had reception. They told us we still owed the full amount and there was no record of any payment. But, I told them this wasn’t possible, that we had to have paid a portion to reserve the property. I spent too much time on our only full day there going line by line through one year of credit card statements from the time of reservation. We did agree after researching that we owed a portion, but only a quarter of what they said. They had switched payment platforms and just had no record of my prior payment. With our other Colorado rental, the owner was very communicative about the payment due dates and messaged us well in advance of our trip about amounts owed.
So, all in all, the lack of communication from the property manager was our only complaint. It delayed our check in and took up part of the only day we had to enjoy. The property in and of itself was absolutely stunning and the view was unparalleled. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend. Just be sure you know where you’re going first - direction wise. And make sure you know how to access before you get there, because you may not be able to call anyone.
I would still 100% recommend. We felt blessed to be there.
Road to house was a little scary but worth it. Very adequate house

Very nice, everything as expected and indicated in the pictures.
Very nice, everything as expected and indicated in the pictures. Very close to Estes Park and rocky mountain national Park. Beautiful views, beds and mattresses were very good and room layout was nice, with the separate living area and three bathrooms. Internet worked well. Only had to call once and was very helpful.
Our family comes to Estes once a year and this was one of our favorite places that we’ve stayed in! Very clean and cozy with amazing views. We will definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed the spacious, well stocked home.
We enjoyed the spacious, well stocked home. Gorgeous views & a short drive into town. Very smooth process. Helpful Staff.
We have stayed in Estes Park on multiple occasions and never had a view like this. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was clean and cozy, with plenty of room to stretch out. It was well-stocked and was the perfect fit for our family.
The house accommodated 5 adults and 2 kids well with lots of living space. It was well equipped in the kitchen and had amazing views of Rocky Mountain National Park. We also had use of a 2 car garage to store all of the hiking boots and bikes and even park our car in it! The road up to the house was steep, zigzagging up the mountain side, but the driveway was flat and we were able to turn our 12 passenger van around in it fine. The steep road was worth the views :)
We had an excellent time at this property . The location is perfect and the views from the property is awesome ! RMNP entrance was 10 min drive. Estes town was also 15 min . One important note for future visitors: the address on VRBO is incorrect, I’d request VRBO to update that if possible. Alternatively do contact the property owner to find the accurate location before heading out.
We would love to visit again!
The house has a lovely view of the Rocky Mountains and is in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Lots of wildlife around - we saw plenty of deer, chipmunks, rabbits and birds from the upstairs deck and the driveway. Very convenient to Estes Park and RMNP but felt very secluded up on the mountain.
Beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room. Thanks to mgmt for supplying all paper products - TP and Paper towels!
Especially noteworthy was watching the moon-set behind the mountains on 2 nights we were there! Amazing. I wish we could have attended the Stargazing class at the YMCA of the Rockies across the way, but they were fully booked. Maybe next time.
