Great cabin for seclusion

The cabin is beautiful and it's in a good spot. It's nice and secluded away from the hustle of tourist areas. Decent drive to ski slopes and the nearby town is charming. Only a few Issues With heat on the third floor but everything else is wonderful.

Had a wonderful time staying in this nice home. Everything was clean and the house was well equipped. We saw wildlife wandering through the land right in front of our house! The floor plan is great for a family with plenty of bathrooms and peaceful privacy when needed. Could have used more trash can liners but that is small thing in the big picture! Loved the nearby quaint town of Fairplay.

Great Home, Second Rate Management Company

We had a total of 4 staying. My dad and his wife and my husband and me. House was big nice and clean i will say listing is accurate. Management contacted me after first night to see if we needed anything. I let them know only TV that was working was in the living room, Rokus were not working. After texting a few times i was sent a YouTube video on how to operate Roku, i let them know it was useless and that was not the problem i also let them know there was no hot water in the downstairs ensuite they stopped all communication with me at that point. No it did not ruin my vacation we simply switched bedrooms but if you need to use that bathroom beware water is very cold. The only other negative i can say is heed the warning on the higher elavation, it is real and effected my dad, we actually all felt it and was uncomfortable to say the least. I did hear back from Management the day we checked out asking for a 5 star review. I would not stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful, it was even better in person. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was so well stocked, variety of seasonings were provided, great pots and pans, beds were comfortable. We liked how a RoKu was provided in all the rooms that had tvs. It was about a 45 minute drive to Breckenridge, which wasn’t bad at all. The cabin is isolated and private which is perfect if you want a mountain getaway. The property management was very nice to deal with if we needed anything during our stay. Check-in was super easy. Overall, 5 stars!!!!

Great cabin, high on the mountain. Very quiet. Cabin was well stocked with everything you need. Warning... Make sure you have a 4wd SUV. The roads are pretty rough, especially when it's snowing.

The home was large enough for us and nice, however: Stains/fluids found on window treatments and wall in master; towels & sheets had stains? found clothing items from previous renters under bed, the jacuzzi tub in lower level did not work ( an honest attempt was made to fix, but did not resolve ), construction on a new cabin was being done across the street (loud trucks w back up beepers and hammers almost every day), traffic on the dirt road about every 10/15 minutes creating a lot of dust in & around the home (could not open windows on the warmer days/evenings), my wife and I walked the property and picked up a large amount of trash (from previous tenants) from around the property, large amount of dirt/mud in garage from previous renters vehicles ( our expedition did not fit so we parked outside the entire stay) and to not add to any of the debris, no blinds/curtains in master bath ( neighboring cabin is in view of master bath/shower which made for a somewhat uncomfortable experience seeing the neighbors on their deck when stepping out of shower. The home was built well and had plenty of space for our family- seems some of the small details were missed in the cleaning process but did not take away from our experience. We travel the area every year and this was another wonderful trip. Thank you the second home team for being available and responsive.
